Recommended What the product claims:
Con-Cret is supposed to have the most bio-available creatine. This should result in better endurance, quicker recovery, and increased strength. It is more soluble than mono due to its unique creatine HCI molecule. It claims to have no side effects like cramps, water retention, bloat, or diarrhea. One serving is equal to 5-10 grams of mono.
I took this during my time in Mississippi for my company. I took it at the same time I was taking C4. I had never used either product before and did some experimentation with the dosage of both to pinpoint the effects of each one.
Dosing 10/10
This was very easy to take. The container is so small you think that you won’t get much out of it! Then you open it and see how small the scoop is. The serving is ¼ tsp per 100# BW. I would use 1 heaping scoop and found that to be very effective. I took this as part of my PWO.
Taste 9/10
Once again, I put my disclaimer in that if it works, the hardcore person doesn’t care about taste. However; if it tastes good too……BONUS! I had the Blue Razz flavor and found it to be just right. It didn’t make the shake too sweet, due to the fact the serving size is so small there’s not a lotta room for fillers. In fact, once I was confident in how it affected my workouts, I started adding it to my C4 which was a very good taste! Plus the serving is so small, even if you don’t like the taste, you can easily mask it in something else.
Effectiveness 8/10
Of course this is the IMPORTANT part. Did the product do what it claims? I will say that while I was taking this product, I had more endurance and good recovery. I’m always strength training so I can’t say that my strength increased due to this product. During the first couple of weeks, I would not take the CC and just take the C4 before my workout. During those workouts, I could tell that my muscles would fatigue sooner. I never got overly sore while taking this product and went up 5# on all my major lifts each week.
Value 7/10
I got this for around $30 for 48 servings. Because I was using heaping scoops, I say I got about 40 servings out of the container. That is $.75 a serving which isn’t too bad. You can get Green Mag for 50-60 cents a serving.
Overall 8/10
I could have gone 8 or 9 here but I’ll go with 8. The value is decent, the taste is good, and the effectiveness is much better than mono for me. I would try this product again someday if I want to change my creatine. I personally like Green Mag better but would not hesitate to use this again if I came across a good sale. Quality product that delivers what I expected it to.

I swear I had the double spacing between paragraphs when I wrote it in word! I didn't check it after I pasted it! Oh well! I also have no idea where that "dosing" thing came from at the bottom?

I mixed it with very little water so I could still taste it. When I mixed it with C4, I didn't add anymore water than I would for C4. Maybe 8-12 floz total?

At your weight, I'd say 3/4-1 scoop would be fine

Depends on how many days you workout a week. I'd say yoh take it at least 5 days a week at least.

Recommended Whats up guys, it's been a longgg time since I've been active on here, so I thought I'd fill you in on something I just tried out. It's been a long time since I posted a review, but I'll do my best to make it legit.

TASTE - 7/10

Personally this is the least important category to me, but it is worth noting. I had the pineapple flavor, and although it wasn't awful tasting it was deff pretty potent. Very tangy, and makes your teeth feel almost a little bit gritty after consuming. Not a big deal though, and I just mixed in a little bit more water then recommended and it wasn't a big deal.

EFFECTIVENESS - 9/10

I personally was very impressed with the effectiveness of this creatine. I was able to break through several plateaus, especially in my bench. I SUCK at bench, I have always had a very strong core and great legs, but my bench is awful. I was able to add a solid 20+ pounds to my bench of the course of two containers of this stuff (although this can partly be contributed to a rededication in the lifting the department as of late). Muscles became more dense and noticeably larger while taking this supp, and mentally I felt like I could always add a couple more reps then what I was expecting. Vascularity was moderately increased, but all the above positives are very substantial considering this is purely a creatine, and the only supplement I was taking besides good ole protein.

Very little to no side effects as expected. Although I will admit I received a little bit of bloating, but nothing compared to other creatine products I have taken.

VALUE - 7/10

This is where I have a little bit of gripe with the product. For a stand-alone creatine this is pretty expensive. I was fortunate enough to buy it when it was buy one get one free, so I wasn't to worried about it. Otherwise it would be a bit pricey to buy though.

OVERALL - 9/10

Overall I was very happy with this product. I believe if you are in the market for a solid creatine this one should deff be taken into consideration. Although it is a bit pricey, it is still a viable option for anyone looking for a solid creatine. There will always be cheaper alternatives like green mag etc, but I still was very happy with this product. The strength increases I was able to make and maintain made this more then worth it for me, and I will deff be purchasing this product again in the future.

Cons:
  • Recovery

You need to give it more than just a week. I personally never used this product but for all supplement you need to give them time. Plus it's more about your diet and exercise than anything if those are bad supps won't help.

NOT Recommended Effectiveness- Definite increased energy and intensity. As far as muscle building, can't really say, as I only took one small bottle. But I do fail to see that this would be an efficient aid. No science, a dose that small couldn't really do much without having a several consecutive supplies.

Value- EPIC fail! I'm quite a bit over 200lbs and the dosing instructions for that weight make it not worth it at all.

Taste- Taste is horrid. Very, very tart.

Recommended I won't say that this creatine is the best one out there, but is by far the best creatine supplement I have ever taken.

*Creatine: The effect of creatine provides the ability to add more strength to the muscle to lift heavier with a high endurance, provide additional reps, and last longer in intense training.

*Effect: Well, with that said, this is what I have experienced with Con-Cret. Take my word, I recommend this product to those who seek for the same experience.
    - I honestly didn't feel the fast recovery because I would wake up with MAJOR soreness next day from breaking barriers with this creatine. lol. Which is quiet good, if you look at it from an effective, result prespective.

*Pump: This is part of the effect I have noticed with Con-Cret but I will talk about it separately. The pump is amazing! I'm a pump fanatic; I feel my muscles tight and enlarged. Especially when I do biceps, and triceps. Legs days are more enjoyable and looking at myself at the mirror while I do biceps curls haven't been more motivative.

*Price is fine to me that is. If you are like me, that trains 5 times a week, use 2 serving and hour before training or one serving with your pre-work then it should last you a month. Like the old saying, "you pay for what you get for."

*Taste for the unflavored, if you ever have tried creatine, is different in this product. I buy the unflavored Con-Cret that is in my local Vitamin Shoppe. It taste like lemon, but give it a chance and you'll like it in no time. Unflavored is goof, in my opinion, 'cause you can mix it with protein shakes or weight gainers in my case. ;)

I hope I have covered everything because I can't think of anything for why you should let this great product sly by.

    A Thank You to all:

Thanks to SupplementReviews.com and other rating website like Bodybuilding.com, I was assure that this was my creatine and it would have worked for me... and it did. :)

So, I thank those who wrote their honest review because it helped me buy the right product.

Good review man. But I have to disagree with one point in your Pros. In no way shape or form does creatine HCL produce steroid like results.

You could stack P6 with con-cret with muscle marinade, maybe throw in some NO3 Black chrome, BCAA's and an HGH supp like HGH pro or Powerfull and you will STILL not see even a fraction of the results that you would from a good gear cycle. Im not condoning the use of gear at all. Im just saying its crazy to compare creatine HCL to something like that.

You know what, I agree, man. I did not write that, I just clicked on the box that said it when I was doing my post without actually realizing it said that. I guess I looked at it and said fast to myself, "yeah, the pump is amazing that it makes me look like I'm in roids." but it was just the pump I was reflecting on.

Recommended this product is fine, but its expensive to run on "hardcore dosage". i bought one and finished it in 3 weeks. using normal dosage. i got amazing gains on my bench press, it went from 375lbs to 390lbs in 3 weeks. I also started training for strenght, thats why it raised so much.

Recommended Ill start off by saying, i took Con-Cret in pill form, because i do not tolerate powdered supps to well

That being said, i finished my first 48 count bottle this passed week. Before this, the only pill form creatine ive ever taken a full supply of was kre-alkalyn 1500, and i have never used creatine monohydrate.

I started off by taking 1 capsule, 1 hour before my workout with a small meal, for the first 2-3ish weeks. I got slight headaches, until i started drinking literally 1-1.5 gallons of water per day.

In the first 3 weekss, i didnt notice much of a strength or size gain. Week 4-5/6 i upped to 2 capsules 1 hour before my work out. Ive noticed slight size increase, but overall a deffinate strength increase! Over about 1.5 months im up 5-10lbs in most areas, but im also hitting the gym 5x a week, so how much i can contribute to Con-Cret is unknown.

Before taking it, i was comfortably curling 35-40 but having a hard time completeing 4 sets of 10

i am now curling 45's, consistantly but still feeling the burn at rep 10

I would deff. reccomend this supplement. I retained no water what so ever, i am eating clean, and its almost impossible not to gain strength. As i said, i dont think it helps add size, but the streangth it adds, obviously results in size later on down the road.

Just recieved my second bottle of this stuff, very excited to see what month 2-3 bring while on it. Give it a try!

As far as the ingredient profile, and what this product claims to do, I like concret slightly more. I've run about 4 bottles back to back now, and I still like it. No loading phase, so cycles.

Although kre is the same, it doesn't wrk as well in the endurance area. Altho concret doesn't seen to help with my recovery like they claim, it's still only a creatine.

Besides the price if it, and how often I run out, I'd say I like concret better, but I've also never ran 4 bottles of kre in a row.

Recommended I bought this product a month ago and just finsihed my first tub two days ago. It had a very high rating on here and so i figured id try it out. I have also taken Kre-Alkalyn 1500 by SciFit. so i have a comparison betwwen the two.

Effectiveness - I would say a 9-10. I definetly had some strength gains and muscle builds while taking Con-Crete. Nothing way up there, but was able to continue to increase weght throughout usage on lifts. I was able to recover faster too it seemed. I retained little water weight also while taking it, which was something I was glad to see.

Taste- I ordered the Pinnaple flavor powder. It mixed very well with small amounts of water needed. It tasted fine to me and was easy to get down. No complaints here.

Price- Alot of people seem to have problems with the pricing. For me this was not a problem. I was able to get a two for one deal on BB, so for two 48 serving tubs i only had to drop $32. Pretty good buy.

Comparing to SciFit Kre-Alkalyn 1500. I would say this is a way better deal. The Sci-fit may be cheeper, but I didnt really see any results from the Sci-Fit. I Fekt like i was wasting money. I have seen many good reviews about the SciFit, but it just wasn't for me.

SideAffects- Besides the need to consume alot of water to avoid dehydration there was nothing. I like having to consume large quantaties of water daily anyways, because that keepes my body feeling clean and healthy.

I would recommend this product to a first time creatine use, or someone who is looking for a change.

Maybe Recommended I guess con crete isn't for me. I took a whole bottle that I over paid for at a brick and mortar store after I ran into the state record holder for bench press in California for the over 50 group in Menlo Park California. Idk his name but he was legit. He swore by con crete. I didn't respond at all. I'm just going to stick to creatine mono.

Recommended con-cret was a very hyped up product and many things going its way. i was actually excited to use this product. i was glad to get away from creatine monohydrate.

taste/mixability-8-the Vitamin Shoppe still to this day only carries the unflavored Con-Cret which tastes like chalk and is sour like a warhead , not bad at all though for unflavored. mixes easy in reg water bottle and has reall small servings

effectivness-9-i switched from SizeOn to Con-Cret and immediatly seen the difference. my muscles felt wayy bigger and i knew i was gaining in size and strength. towrds the end of my bicep workout , my biceps were tight , and it felt amazing.even when not working out , my muscles felt fuller and harder

value-8- believe its 45 servings for 32$ , not very cost efficient but any product that gives results time after time is worth it.

pros-tight full muscles, i could feel my muscles growing and seen a strength increase big time , no water retention

cons-taste was bad but i didnt have their blue raspberry or pineapple flavors which sound delicious . and maybe could been 3-4$ cheaper

another product that should be in any stack , small servings and great results
